Savanna Smith is a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at Olive Leaf who brings passion for early intervention and empowerment to her work with clients. With a specialized focus on boundaries, healthy communication, and addiction, Savanna is passionate about helping children recognize and build on their unique strengths. Over the past 5+ years, she has worked in spaces that allow kids to directly explore themselves and their talents while providing a foundation to fall back on, believing deeply in the power of early intervention to create lasting change and empowering kids to speak from within so they can grow into fulfilled, self-aware individuals who know their voice matters.
Her approach to therapy centers on creating a safe, respectful space where appropriate boundaries are modeled and encouraged—focusing on enhancing healthy communication between clients and the important people in their lives, including friends, family, peers, and colleagues. Savanna believes that each client already holds valuable skills within themselves, and her role is to help them recognize, access, and apply those strengths to navigate life more confidently and effectively. She creates an environment where clients can build fulfilling, meaningful relationships and develop a strong internal foundation that empowers them to take healthy risks.
Savanna obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Education Studies from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, in 2023, and completed her MA in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of San Diego in May 2025. She has worked in both behavioral and mental health settings over the past 5 years, enriching her ability to meet clients with both specialized expertise and a genuine commitment to creating positive change.
"Because true belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world, our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self-acceptance." ― Brené Brown
